Lead capture & lead retrieval
Trade show lead capture without a scanner rental.
Your exhibitors already talk to hundreds of people. Most of it goes home on business cards and a scribbled note. TripPass captures the lead at the booth, with the visitor's permission, and keeps it in that exhibitor's own list — with a record of what the person was actually looking for.
How a lead is captured
Step one
A code, either direction
Step two
The visitor agrees first
Step three
It lands in the right list
What the exhibitor gets
- Every lead scoped to that exhibitor and nobody else
- What the visitor searched for or viewed before making contact
- Separate contact and marketing permission on each lead
- Duplicate visitors merged rather than counted twice
- Spreadsheet export during the show, not two weeks after it
- Profile views and saves alongside the captured leads
What the organizer gets
- Lead retrieval you can include or sell, without buying hardware
- A number exhibitors can point at when they renew next year
- Which categories and booths drew the most interest
- Consent records held per show, not scattered across vendors
- The same guide attendees use for maps, seminars and offers
Talk about leads for your show
Tell us roughly how many exhibitors you have and how leads are handled today. We'll show you the booth flow on a phone and what an exhibitor's list looks like afterwards.
We don't share your details, and there's nothing to sign to see it.
Questions
About lead capture on TripPass.
What is a trade show lead capture app?
It is the tool an exhibitor uses at the booth to record who they spoke to and what that person was interested in, with permission. TripPass does this inside the show guide attendees already have open, so there is no scanner to rent and nothing for the visitor to install.
How does lead retrieval work without a badge scanner?
The attendee scans the booth's QR code, or the exhibitor scans the attendee's code from their phone. Either way the visitor agrees to share their details first, and the lead is written to the exhibitor's own list straight away.
Who owns the leads?
The exhibitor who captured them. Leads are scoped to that exhibitor, are not visible to other exhibitors, and can be exported as a spreadsheet at any point — during the show or after it.
Is it consent based?
Yes. Nothing is collected until the attendee agrees, and the wording they agreed to is stored with the lead. Marketing permission is asked for separately from simply sharing contact details.
What do exhibitors see with each lead?
Name and the contact details the visitor shared, when it was captured, and the interest context — what they searched for or which listing they were looking at when they made contact.
Does this work for limo and black-car companies too?
Yes. Operators use the same form to capture corporate and event enquiries, and every enquiry lands in the same place rather than in a personal inbox.
